Our client near Lismore in Victoria is seeking a mature and experienced Farm Machinery Operator to operate their new air seeder.
Position:
Working alongside the owner, you will be operating and maintaining a 3year old Case Steiger 400 and a Horwood Bagshaw bar with a Gyral air seeder, to implement the winter cropping program. The bar and bin were both bought brand new last season and are in immaculate condition.
Dates:
Start: April 15th
Approx. 6-8wks work.
Sundays off.

To be eligible:
You must have proven experience operating an air seeder, as well as in the general servicing and maintenance of farm machinery and an understanding of farm operations and applications with the use of GPS. This position would suit a mature individual, either a local or maybe a grey nomad, with a good understanding of the demands and requirements of seeding, particularly in dry conditions.
