Dirt & Dust April 11, 12 and 13th April 2025
The Dirt & Dust Festival committee are looking for three couples of volunteers to work in shifts covering our camping facilities at McIntyre park, Julia Creek, over the weekend for this year's festival.
We believe many hands make light work and would hope by finding at least couples the shifts would allow you to also enjoy Julia Creek in all its Dirty and Dusty glory!
The role:
- Your camp would be located at the entrance to McIntyre park and would commence from 9am Friday morning.
- Checking in those that have pre booked camping sites, and accepting payment for those who arrive throughout Friday and Saturday.
- The entrance is also where our gold coin donation breathalyzing station is and you would be responsible for running this upon request from campers over the weekend.
- Tickets to our event are sold via the Trybooking app and the app is how campers that have prebooked will check in. For this reason, a working knowledge and possession of a smart phone under a Telstra or Optus service is not essential, but will be of a very great help to you!
The Rewards: These volunteers will be offered in return for their hard work
- DnD volunteer shirts
- Dinners provided on Friday and Saturday
- A food voucher to the amount of $50 per couple to be used at either of our grocery shops
- A $100 fuel voucher to be used at our service station
- Free entry to the DND venue over the weekend (this does not include entry to the Julia Creek Turf Club Artesian Express race day that will also take place over the weekend)
