Caretaker

Permanent Caretaker wanted for small family property at Drillham Qld.

Seeking someone to live in and caretake our property in exchange for free rent and electricity. Asking for one day (8 hours) a week to perform maintenance basic tasks.
We offer a comfortable, tidy, unfurnished two bedroom home with established drip irrigated gardens and some shed space to park your vehicles/caravan.

Maintenance roles will include but are not limited to:
* Mowing
* Garden pruning and ensuring drip irrigation is used and maintained
* Checking/repairing fences
* Checking cattle (calving trouble/injuries/bogged)
* Checking waters including bore, dams and watering points.
* Spraying regrowth
* Spraying Roundup

Applicants are to be tidy, honest and able to perform these tasks unassisted.

This position is best suited to a retired or semi retired couple.
Located 35km from the township of Miles, the successful applicant has options for other work and social opportunities.
