Caretaker Couple

CARETAKER POSITION AVAILABLE

We have an opening for a caretaker (Retired couple preferred) on a cattle station 10km east of Croydon, Qld 4822.

We are looking for someone who would be happy to stay on the property, longer term and caretake whilst the property owners travel to and from the property at various times throughout the year.

Jobs include mowing, gardening, checking on cattle waters, putting out lick for cattle (with hydraulic arm, no heavy lifting required) general maintenance, as well as checking and repairing fences.

A two bedroom house, power, shower, toilet, 4G mobile coverage, and basic groceries are supplied.

Someone with a rural background or experience would be ideal however not essential.

Croydon is a great place to get away from the cold weather and has a large recreational dam, full of barramundi, only fifteen minutes from the station. Croydon has a rich history with mine shafts and diggings all over the property from the gold rush days.
