Caretakers/Cleaners for Small Workers Accommodation

We live and work in a small vibrant community and are looking for a couple or single person to help our accommodation business in Julia Creek for the 2025 year. Starting on the 3rd February, or thereabouts (start date can be flexible)

We are an electrical contracting business which also has a retail business in town and some accommodation known as Tradies Way, which offers 28 king single bed dongas ensuite each providing air conditioning, fridge, TV. We primarily cater for contractors, so most stays are over 3 nights.

On site we have a communal area with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry and BBQ area for guest to use.

We are located less than 10 min walking from the of the town centre. 

Hours are usually around 36- 40 hours a week for one person (but can be less if you do not want that many hours) and 10-15 for the second person which we pay an hourly rate per person.  Main duties include check out cleans, keeping area clean and the garden at Tradies Way and the main house maintained.  No reception work required as we take bookings through the shop in town. Unless of course you have office skills and would like a few hours in the office. Clean, comfortable and air-conditioned staff accommodation provided.
