Essential Services Operator (ESO)

This Fulltime position is responsible for the maintenance of Essential Services (Power and Water - Power diesel generation, water samples & sewerage only) to the Indigenous community of Yuendumu in the Tanami Region, 275 kms from Alice Springs. You will be under the supervision of the ESO Coordinator based in Yuendumu. Key responsibilities include the maintenance, reporting and monitoring of essential services for Power and Water (PWC). Quarterly reads of the electricity and power meters also. This position would suit anyone with basic handyman skills. This is a small community and the position requires 7.6 hours per day / 38 hours per week, with extra hours available through additional work orders requested by PWC. $70,000.00 Remuneration Package Rate PLUS a $200.00 per week On Call Allowance paid which total an $80k+ Remuneration Package. 6 weeks Annual Leave + 17.5% Leave Loading + Accommodation, Internet, utilities, I-phone, Toyota 4WD work vehicle are all supplied.

White Card and current Driver’s Licence are essential.
