Farm Hand, Handy Man.

If you want to experience what happens on a broad-acre cropping farm at seeding time, nows your chance come and join us and have a break from travelling and top up your funds to continue on your way when we finish.

Property has a 4 bedroom fully furnished house which you can park your van or vans around. This house site will be used for  your power and water ,washing etc. House has a pergola ,barbecue area with a wood fire  in it. But happy for you to use house if you need a break from the van. House is away from main sheds so nice and quiet.

We need a couple that are self motivated, trustworthy , that can lend a helping hand. If travelling with friends there is a opportunity for a full time seeder driver as well on day shift.

With our MAY/JUNE agricultural sowing program when it rains.

JOD DESCRIOPTION:

• Help move utes + trucks +chemical carts in front of seeders between farm blocks, so machinery is organised for shift changes. Our machinery works 24 hours, so you would be working along side Jim getting machinery moved to be ready for next shift change - couple hours in morning and a couple hours mid arvo, then a bit of mowing and slashing around property shed and houses.
• may have tractor work  rolling lentils with 60ft + 48 ft roller in JUNE.
• Little bit of handy man work.
• if partner could lend a hand occasionally with meal preparations if required some days.

The house has room for three other vans if you are travelling with friends, however friends would have to be approved by us to stay.

We have a happy hour bar off our shearing shed we use in the winter with pizza oven and wood fire, you can use.

Property backs onto the iconic dingo fence, Pureba National Park with beautiful 4WD scenic drives at your door step.

Great fishing area.

Visit the unspoilt  beautiful ruggedness of the Eyre Peninsula area.
