Description
Hi there, if you enjoy a bit of light work and being active in the mornings for about 4 hours a day this might interest you.
I own a small Organic Farm in Goodnight NSW, close to Tooleybuc if you know this part of the Murray river. From mid January until April/May I need 4 to 6 people to help with the fig harvest. It isn’t heavy work. Requires gentle hands and a bit of common sense. I also have my sultana harvest at this time which take up a lot of my time.
In the past I have employed back packers and that has been a hit and miss affair with the figs. So this year I would like to see if there are any nomads who would like to try it out. There are plenty of shady places at my house to park up vans. I can supply power and you can use my house as your own.
Please get in touch if you are interested, feel free to drop by if you are going past to have a look.
All the best, Erin
pS there is lots to do in the area, you won’t be short of activities, in Tooleybuc we have the golf and bowls club as well as the pub which won the “Best Pub Parmie” last year. Balranald is just 50km away with its fantastic Art gallery which holds all sorts or workshops if you want to indulge your creative side. And a Bakery which does the BEST vanilla slice. It’s a great town to visit and the gateway to Yanga and Mungo National parks.
Swan hill is only 50km away where you have all the supermarkets and a great array of restaurants etc. Also, help yourself to all the fruit that is in Season on my farm. Which will be figs obviously, Sultana Grapes and Valencia’s. I look forward to hearing from you.
Take care and travel safe- pets are welcome
