Harvest Paddock Logistics Management
Location: Beaufort, Victoria
Duration: 5-7 Weeks | Nov 18th - early Jan
We are currently seeking a reliable and capable individual to organise our client's paddock logistics through harvest near Beaufort, VIC. This position is critical to ensuring a seamless and efficient harvest and loading of trucks, particularly when the farm owner is off-site during the day.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will oversee harvest contractors and trucks, ensuring the smooth execution of harvest activities. Key duties include:
- Operating and managing ground crew tasks:
- Running and maintaining augers
- Coordinating and loading trucks
- Accurate record keeping and docket writing for truck dispatch
- Blowing down and cleaning machinery.
- Performing basic machinery maintenance to ensure peak performance
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong experience in agricultural operations and grain handling
- Proficiency in operation and maintenance and transport of augers
- Excellent organizational skills, communcation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience
