About the Role

Reporting directly to the Manager Growers Services and Horticulture and daily to our Transport Supervisor you will be responsible for the cartage of produce from our orchards and external growers to our pack house for packing for the local and export destinations. Adhering to the Nippy's safety and quality protocols at all time. In addition, you will be accountable for-

• Completion of a pre-start check list daily for your vehicle.
• Completing of provisional delivery dockets and bin tickets for fruit collected.
• Recording of axle weights for mass management.

About You

The successful candidate will have proven experience operating heavy vehicles, forklift (Current high-risk forklift essential) and previous experience with road transport. In addition, you will be/have:

• The ability to work well in a team environment
• A great work ethic and commitment to your role
• The ability to problem solve, think outside the square and work well under pressure
• Flexible, at times you will be asked to work overtime with short notice including weekends.
• HC/ MC driver’s licence and High Risk licence
• The ability to operator tractor forklifts
