Housekeeper Lawn waterer Cook

We are on a remote cattle station about 380kms south of Katherine. We are looking for a single female or couple to keep the main house clean and tidy and water the lawns and cook for 4 to 8. Other parts of the job include store runs to the roadhouse and to Katherine, counting cattle at the yard and dropping off/picking up grader driver and feeding the pensioner horses. We have a mob of kelpies so you need to like dogs up close and friendly.

We offer lawn for parking, free power. water, food, fuel, internet etc. The downside is you have to share the lawn with thieving horses, hooning dogs, bellowing poddy calves and occasional visiting cattle. Pay depends on whether you are a single or a couple and how many hours you want to work. Full time single is $250 per day plus super and minus tax for a 7 hour day 5 or 6 days a week depending on what suits you. Couples - depends on skills and whether you both want to work full time.

The humans. We are a weird mob but generally harmless bit like the kelpies lots of bark but no bite and easily soothed with good food.  We don't drink alcohol much but we do smoke. Social drinking is ok but falling off veranda every night is probably not right for here.

A month is a good time to stay, longer up to 3months if we all get along. Weeks away are encouraged to promote sanity and see the rest of the NT. We have no fishing and no shooting- its is just a flat block of land with no rivers. It gets hot from September so usually people head for home then.
