Julia Creek RV Site Camp Hosts April – September 2025

McKinlay Shire Council is looking for volunteers to fill the role of ‘Camp Host’ at our Free RV Site located on the banks of Julia Creek from April - September 2025.

Very laid-back position with hosts camping in an idyllic waterfront location and Council will supply a generator & fuel for the duration of your stay.

For those hosting in June – August, free meals at our famous ‘Julia Creek Caravan Park Bush Dinners’ are provided for the hosts.

Duties include checking in guests, ensuring guests meet the requirements (fully self contained vans only) and providing promotion of activities and experiences in Julia Creek (information provided).

Camp hosts usually fill position for 2-3 weeks depending on availability.  Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated, please contact us for more information. This is a great spot to unhitch, unwind and relax!
