Lovely hobby farm spot Christmas holiday break – Yarra Valley (or farm sitting)

Hello travellers! We are located in the pretty Yarra Valley (about an hour from Melbourne) on a 10 acre farm with a beautiful mature English style garden, horses, chooks and friendly animals. Nationals Parks, State Forests, plenty of walking tracks etc are a short drive, and we are a great base to set up roots and access this area. Healesville township is minutes drive from our property, as well as Yarra Valley wineries, breweries & distilleries for you to explore. We are looking for travellers with a self contained caravan/motor home who are happy to give us a hand around our property in exchange for a lovely spot to park your motorhome.

We can supply power, which can be hooked up to the shed or house, graveled area to set yourselves up and mains water. There are also limited access to shared bathroom & laundry facilities, in our house, if needed and welcome to use by negotiation. Ideally you would need to be fully self contained. Telstra & Optus are the best mobile coverage from our property, other network providers can be limited, but better service in the main township of Healesville.

We are also looking for farm sitters in early January to water the garden, feed our 3 friendly cats, 2 dogs, chickens and 3 horses.  Ideally, you will need some horse handling experience, and there is option to bring your own steed.
