Georgina Pastoral Company is accepting applications for a Mechanic at Miranda Downs Station, in the heart of northwest Queensland’s Gulf Country, in 2025.

Mechanic

The Mechanic role includes:

- implementing the maintenance program and carry out routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostics as required.

- provide specialist technical support to station staff working on/with vehicles, plant and machinery on-site and in the workshop.

- managing the spare parts inventory.

- maintaining an efficient and safe workshop.

This position requires: 

• trade qualification as mechanic or equivalent
• 3+ years experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to live remotely
