Motel Managers

Ash Palms motel is located in Weipa FNQ and consists of 10 two bedroom apartments.

We are seeking a Motel Manager who is ready to get involved in all aspects of running the business, from guest service to cleaning, maintenance, and administration. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is versatile, self-motivated, and able to work independently. If you are passionate about hospitality, have a positive attitude, and enjoy a dynamic and varied workday, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

· Guest Management: Oversee all guest-related operations, including check-ins, check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring an excellent guest experience.

· Cleaning and Housekeeping: Manage and participate in daily cleaning and maintenance of rooms and common areas. This includes ensuring rooms are prepared to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

· Operations Management: Coordinate reservations, monitor occupancy rates, and handle booking systems.

· Financial Administration: Oversee the financial aspects of the motel, including invoicing, processing payments, and managing budgets.

· Maintenance and Upkeep: Perform basic maintenance tasks, ensuring the property is well-maintained. This includes liaising with external contractors when necessary for larger repairs.

The successful applicants would be required to be employed for a minimum of 12 months.

Onsite free accommodation is supplied which includes all electricity, water and internet services.
