Taralee Orchards, nestled in the forest of the Southern Flinders Ranges near Wirrabara, South Australia, is looking for friendly helpers during the busy fruit harvest season.

This is an exchange opportunity, ideally suited to a travelling couple, although singles are also very welcome to apply.

The role

During harvest, a large amount of fruit is prepared for the farm’s solar dryer.

The main work involves:

✅ Cutting and preparing fruit for drying
✅ Helping with fruit processing during harvest
✅ Assisting with other light farm or orchard jobs as required

Most of the fruit-cutting work is done in the morning for a few hours each day, leaving plenty of free time to relax and explore the surrounding region.
