Station Caretaker

Required for immediate start due to unforeseen circumstances.

Looking for a couple to caretake our cattle and goat operation based north east of Broken Hill.

Duties will include;

-general garden care and maintenance (mainly lawns and trees). Ride on mower supplied.

-Starting diesel motors for pumps. All electric start

-Cleaning troughs and checking dams/troughs. Occasional repairs to poly pipelines when issues are found.

-General surveillance of stock and fences. No handling of livestock required.

-Chooks and one cat are the only domestic animals that will need care.

Tero is a family owned station located 275km North East of Broken Hill. This property is remote but with mobile phone coverage, unlimited satellite internet and Starlink installed in the property vitellicle for safety. We receive mail once per week and royal flying doctor visits every 6 weeks.

You will be living in a separate cottage to the main house. This has 3 bedrooms, full furnished and self contained. Cool room available for use for excess cold storage.
