Winter on the Fleurieu – Homestead Gardening

If you love getting your hands in the soil, building compost, suppressing weeds with mulch and building paths with bricks and pavers we have a range of jobs you can do.

Of course there is always weeding to do if you love that sudden impact of seeing what a great difference you can make.

There is also propagating, pruning and planting to be done.

We have a lovely winter veg garden and plenty of home grown meat if that is your thing!

Come for a minimum of 3 days, stay for a month if you like! We'd like 4 hours work (2 hours for each of a couple) per day for 5 days a week - flexible as to which days as we work from home. Must be able to self-supervise as we won't always be able to help due to working at home.

Must be fully self-sufficient for water and electricity. We can provide access to laundry if needed.

Private camping spot overlooking vineyards and bush block, with resident kangaroos passing by.  Gently sloping site - bring your chocks, you'll probably need them.

10 minutes to iconic Horseshoe Bay, Port Elliot, 10 minutes to Victor Harbor and 25 minutes from the beautiful town of Goolwa near the mouth of the Murray and 30 minutes from the famous McLaren Vale wine region.

Plenty of free time to explore all the region has to offer.
