A cattle property around 100 km north of Julia Creek, Queensland is looking for a practical and reliable handyman / station all-rounder, ideally a couple, to help out through October and November 2026.

The property is reached mainly by sealed road, with only around 30 km of dirt road.

This is a paid position, with wages paid on an hourly basis against an ABN invoice.

The role

This is a varied, hands-on station role, with work likely to include:

✅ Welding
✅ Pruning and mowing
✅ Gardening
✅ Cleaning
✅ Tractor work
✅ Fence repairs
✅ Weed spraying / poisoning
✅ Poly pipe repairs
✅ General station and property maintenance
✅ Other day-to-day practical jobs as required

Applicants must also be willing to assist with firefighting duties if grassfires occur.

For couples

A couple is preferred.

There may be limited work available for the second person, including:

✅ Cleaning
✅ Gardening
✅ Watering lawns and gardens
✅ Helping around the homestead when required

From time to time the owners may be away for a few days, so someone reliable will be needed to keep an eye on the property and maintain the gardens and lawns.
